EUROPEAN VOLUNTEERS RACE: EV-RACE

European Volunteers Race (EV-race) is a part of the biggest sports event organized by Gmina Dąbrowa.  “Winter Oak Run” has been organized since 2012. Every year the event gathered 300 main run participants, 400 young runners and 100 nordic walking racers, as well as a number of spectators exceeding the number of the citizens of the village Dąbrowa.. However, more than 100 local volunteers involved in the organization put a higher bar this year.. In the scope of “Winter Oak Run” Gmina Dąbrowa they are organizing another “EV-race” to decide the fastest EVS runner in Poland.




Running distance:

5K race (5 km)

Who can participate in “EV-race”?

  • Current or ex- EVS volunteers.
  • Participants who signed the declaration of participation ( on the day of the event, at the event office) and paid the entry fee.

Entry fee:

  • 40 PLN - paid until 31.01.2018 ( online payment)
  • 50 PLN - paid until 28.02.2018 ( online payment)
  • 60 PLN - paid on spot ( at the event office)

What will participants get:

  • A non-returnable start number with a chip.
  • T-shirt with the event’s logo, official mug, refreshments, an energy drink, meal coupon.
  • Every participant will receive a medal upon crossing the finish line.
  • The winners of the race (one male, one female) will receive prizes and trophies.

Organizer provides:

  • Shower possibility after the run.
  • Possibility to be accommodated in the school (you are asked to bring your sleeping bags).
  • Medical care during the event.
  • Professional timing by the race management enterprise.

Final provisions:

  • Participants agree to publish their images and videos.
